How to add and customize headings in your projects

Headings allow you to create better hierarchy in your projects. They are useful for organizing content, improving readability, and guiding users through your projects with clarity and structure. It enhances the overall design aesthetic and helps emphasize important information effectively.

How to add headings

Add headings in the quick command menu

You can add headings in Whirr in the same way you summon other blocks in your project. To start, hit / to begin a quick command. Then, type h or heading.

Headings will appear in the quick command menu, simply select it.

πŸ’‘ Did you know? You can quickly use specific headings by simply typing / and the number associated with the heading size.

Add headings in the text editor

You can also add headings by highlighting your text, and selecting an option in the πšƒ text style dropdown.

How to customize headings

Customizing headings is easy. There are two different ways you can customize your headings. The first allows you to customize all of your headings' font and color in one place, and the second allows you to customize each of your headings separately.

Customizing heading styles for your project

In your project settings you can customize heading styles under your Style tab. Find this by navigating to your βš™ Project Settings in the top right of your project, then select Style.

In the Style menu you are able to customize various style options, including your heading font, and text color.

Adding text styles to specific headings

To add styles to specific headings, simply highlight the text you would like to customize, and use the text editor menu that appears.

You can customize headings with various options

  • Bold

  • Italics

  • Color

  • Link

  • Alignment

  • Underline

  • Strikethrough
